Unconventional ‘oh couture’. Designed in Belgium.
Caroline Bosmans; over the years, the name has travelled far beyond Belgian borders. Her work, known for its bold silhouettes and sharp graphic language, has found its way into concept stores and curated wardrobes worldwide; from Paris to Tokyo, New York to Seoul.
Our assignment entailed translating this no-nonsense approach into a virtual Bosmans’ world, ready for international e-commerce. Working closely with the creative director herself, we translated her unapologetic design approach into a well-oiled Shopify environment.

On carolinebosmans.com, we built an extensive archive, showcased the latest collections and included some ‘pièces uniques’, if you are lucky enough to find them. The webshop invites you to slow down and immerse yourself in their world while providing a highly optimised approach for purchasing your desired item.


Leveraging the power of Shopify, ERP and bespoke automation
This stylised approach challenges conventional e-commerce design choices. Together with Caroline Bosmans, we sought a balance between familiar ui/ux patterns and the essence of their brand. After many iterations, the final design came to life.
The webshop features an extensive catalogue, reaching back to some of their earliest collections. This was made possible by integrating their ERP software with Shopify, allowing Caroline Bosmans to publish any collection they still have in stock. All assets, stock levels and product metadata (fabric, composition, washing instructions, …) are continuously synced with Shopify.
Our team trained the Caroline Bosmans team to manage content, create mailings and get the most out of their Shopify account. We’ve defined multiple markets, with tailored delivery pricing and local tax rules. Their customer base is now segmented within a loyalty program, and linked to the marketing email app.
Mr. Henry also managed the transition from their previous platform. We redirected old URLs (to avoid SEO penalties and help current customers find their way), transferred their customer base, optimised all pages and collections for SEO purposes and finally, we let search engines know there’s an updated website in town.
